Cycle 4 in Pictures

If you're someone that has been following LJNTM for years, then you know why everything generally starts with cycle 4. To fill any newbies in, 95% of the pictures from cycles 1 and 2 were lost, and cycle 3 failed miserably. It never even had a real start. Cycle 4 was a bit of a much needed renaissance for LJNTM, and it contains some of my absolute favorite pictures from the competition... EVER. In this entry, you'll find all of my favorite pictures from cycle 4. Some are my favorites because of their sheer beauty, while others are my favorites because of the model's improvement. Improvement means a lot at 1topmodel. Its the beauty of the competition. There is no fun in seeing someone being perfect every week. I like seeing people take risks and use a photograph that is unconventionally beautiful. Anyway, thats enough yapping! On to the pictures.

This is Stefanie. She is now a very successful model that participated in the competition twice.
These pictures were taken for our Pregnancy theme. If I recall correctly, she was the only model that touched on the subject of abortion. Her pictures were very intense and moody.

These were taken for our "Androgyny" theme. They are very mysterious and dark.

This is Natt. She was the fiercest zombie ever, and managed to make her legs look a million miles long.

This is Daniela. She was the winner of cycle 4. After simply giving her pictures a quick glance, its easy to tell why.
These pictures were taken for the "Favorite Song from the Year You were Born" theme. She chose "Rock Me Amadeus". The composition of these photographs is amazing.

These are from the "Favorite Book" theme. Danila did "The Wonderful Wizard of OZ". For starters, I love that book, and this shoot looks like an actual editorial, without things being too literal.

These were from the zombie shoot, and they also had a very fashion editorial feel to them.
